Paul DeMarinis is a sound and media artist of international reputation. Since the early nineteen seventies he develops performances,installations and interactive electronics. His work "Firebirds" will be presented up in the bell tower: it uses gas flames as loudspeakers - an idea of DeMarinis going back to Lee DeForest, an american pioneer of radio technology.

On wednesday, 12th of may 2004, singuhr-hoergalerie in parochial opens its nineth season with "LIGHTS AND SOUNDS" of Tilman Küntzel at 6 pm up in the bell tower of Parochial Church in Berlin-Mitte. This exhibition is created by sound artist Küntzel, who is living in Berlin, as a project of multiple parts.
