back to the season

The visitor climbs the spiral staircase up to the bell tower. Like climbing a tower "to gain a view", the visitor opens the bell room door, which already acts as a vantage point by bringing to full sight an at most calf-high stretched net, a web of fine, reddish copper wire. The visitor hears quiet clicks coming from the net, clicks that might intensify in patches at this very moment...

By stretching the thin copper wire, a net is created in the bell room. A very small loudspeaker is installed at the meeting point of each strand. Because of the net, the room is no longer freely navigated - it must be carefully scouted / researched. In all, 300 uniform loudspeakers are installed. The loudspeakers aren«t used to play just any sounds: we activate them through single electrical impulses. The resulting activated impulses ("clicks") are only coloured through the resonance frequency of the loudspeakers.
We have defined about 10 single rules of motion and time that the loudspeaker "clicks" react to. In this way formal acoustic processes appear in relation to punctual acoustic events in the background.
