Originally a painter, Andres Bosshard develops sound installations and live-electronic musical instruments since the eighties. Together with architects and landscape planners several permanent sound architectures were realized. Bosshard«s work combines technical precision and poetical ease in an unique way.

"Rotophonia" for the nave of the Parochialkirche is an installation made of rotating loudspeakers on a horizontally rotating beam. Three sound swings and six floating sound balloons complete this astonishing whirring system. There the visitor becomes the point of intersection of shifting perspectives of space and sound.
